We have a name

I guess it's official. We took her to the vet this morning to get checked out. Just as I thought, they estimated her age at about four months. Everything looked good. She got her first round of shots, got wormed, and put on the calendar to be spayed in July. She got a bath as soon as we got home. Now she's learning all the "lessons" that go with being an inside dog. Alice and Mabel love her and they've played and played all day. I hope all the activity has tired her out and will make for a good first night in her crate.

Now for the name..... I loved all your suggestions, but I have this thing about using "people" names for my dogs. (I know... you're thinking "what about Blue and Mama Dog?", but that's another story) Debby suggested "Vickie", but since Victor is a family name that's out. We ended up going with "Suzy". She just looks like a Suzy Q. Now the question will be what to do if we get a response to our ad. If it's her owner of course we'll give her back, but if it's just someone who thinks she's cute .... well, we might have to say she's already found a home.

I knew it, once you start talking about names, the dog/cat has as good as moved in. I'm so pleased that Suzy found you, I just know she'll have a good home.

Suzy Q is the name!! Suits her to a tee, I'd say. She's the same age as Spanky! He's 41/2 months now.

My little one is quite simply going stir crazy! Chomping at the bit to get unconfined and out with the rest of the pack! Still a couple more weeks to go before the big x-ray and, hopfully, get-out-of-jail-free card!!!

Welcome to the pack family Miss Suzy Q!!! I'd say you bingoed!!!

She's a beauty, Kelly. Alas, Ralph is spending a week at the kennel right now as we've had to move out while they're putting in our new floors. Given that he had spent the previous two weeks being crate-trained, he might like it better!

Sorry, a bit off topic I know. I'm looking for your post'ramblings' which my reader informs me is here somewhere - where is it? I'm confused.
