Another dog?!

What is it about our house that attracts dogs? All you have to do is click on the dog label in my sidebar to see how many mutts (and I say that with affection) we've dealt with.... and that's just been in the two years I've kept this blog!

We had a new one show up this week. It's a little girl and she appears to be fairly young. Friendly, friendly, friendly!! Rarely is her tail still. She prefers the company of our inside girls (the outside dogs didn't give her a particularly warm welcome) and slips under the fence to join them any time they go out. Once the door opens for them to come back in, she darts right in with them.

Her behavior leads us to believe she might possibly have been inside wherever she came from, or at least around people who cared about her. I've posted her photo in the lost & found and the free dog section of the website I used last summer to find homes for Mama Dog's puppies.

In the meantime, we're thinking of a name......

Rut-row, Kelly. Once you give 'em a name, that's it, they're a member of the family then. LOL! She is a cutie. (It's the same way with cats at our house. They just seem to appear out of nowhere...) Thank God for people like us to take in strays. Have a great weekend. Blessings!

Go ahead and give her a name already, you know she's there to stay.

I would have been a sucker for this one too. What heart-melting photos!

Sounds like she heard about you through the dogvine and decided to stay!

Those lines above her eyes make her look nervous or worried. Let me think on a name.

Hey that last picture? That dog looks like the RCA Victor dog (remember the old advertisement: his master's voice?) Since it's a girl, call her Vickie.

Part of me would like to think her family could be traced but, deep down, Im hoping she'll have a new home with you all. Do let us know what happens and what name you decide on. I quite like Kurpek which is Turkish for dog.

What a cutie!!!!! She really DOES look like the RCA dog!

OK, what's her name going to be. I can tell she's already adopted you. :)

She looks like a Fawn. Or a Sugar.

I am glad she has found a good home.

Looks like she's already charmed her way into your heart. She has a hopeful/thankful expression. Are those wrinkles or stripes on her forehead? If they're strips how about Tiger for a name?

Or better yet...Tigger!
