Making my way through the ups and downs of life, holding fast to my favorite Bible verse: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." ~2 Corinthians 5:7.
I began blogging in earnest at Yahoo360 on October 24, 2005. (briefly using LiveJournal and blog-city prior to that) In June 2008 I moved to Blogger. I'm now at WordPress where I hope to remain.
Shadows may or may not be Patterns of urbanity. If a shadow threatens you, Here, my dear, is what to do: Grab the shadow by the throat, Toss it to a billy goat, So the goat can chomp and chew, Keeping it away from you!
I'm sure Mabel would be quite pleased with all your comments. She's quite the odd-bird, er...dog. She's full of anxieties stemming from her rough start in life, but this was taken during a very content moment.

Mabel looks great - barely shadowy at all....
Excellent photo. Cool shadow shot.
All the best, Boonie
Whoa Mabel. Sorry your photo reminded me of an old song. Love the photo.
Hope your weekend was a good one Kelly.
Mabel you look so happy there...
Kelly, have a good week ahead!
Just lounging about, catching some rays! What more could a dog want?
Nice shot!
Love it! She looks like Smokey or Mac when they are outside lounging in a patch of sunshine.
Spanky, on the other hand, is rarely still enough to 'sun'. He's usually chewing on a chew bone or nosing around the backyard.
There are nice shadows on a sweet dog. She seemed to say it was all right to take her picture.
OMG--Photography and Pets--two of my favs- and you captured them both Brilliantly!!!

What a beautiful photo of the sun shining on the doggie enjoying the warmth!
Lovely ... though she looks so sad.
Awww, my sweet Mabel.
