Think you can stand one more recipe from me this weekend?
My daughter and I picked up some peaches in Ruston, LA this past week (some of the best in the world!) so I had to try a recipe I saw in the June issue of Southern Living Magazine.
I cut it in half and prepared it in an 8x8" baking dish. Mine doesn't look nearly as nice as the one they show with the recipe, but I'd be willing to bet it tastes just as good if not better than theirs! I think this would be good made with other kinds of fruit, too.

Now thats more like it. Yum, I can smell it, I can taste it. Thanks for sharing another wonderful dish with us Kelly. You do realise how inadequate all this makes me feel though, she says laughing.
Kelly, you are truly killing me. I've gained 5 pounds just reading your blog! LOL! Have you ever tried Peach Salsa? I had it once at a friends's house and it was awesome but I've yet to find a good recipe. It had peaches, hot peppers, vinegar, onions and sugar. It sounds horrid, but it was amazing. Blessings!
Artrghhh!! I'm a sucker for peach cobbler!!! We go to a pick your own place and the peaches are amazing!!! I'll have to see when they are ready this year and bookmark this page!
Oh my! Drool alert!! Yuum!
I am so envious of those of you living in fresh peach country! Waaagh!!!
You are killing me! You are so right, no better peaches in the world than those that come from North LA -- and I live in a state that borders Georgia! That cobbler looks divine!
Hmmmm...yummy. I agree with Bob. You're killing me! I love cobbler, so I had to print this recipe. Maybe someday. I don't want to think I can never have any of the foods that I love. Thanks, Kelly. I want a bit of yours!
I'll take mine with a dollop of vanilla ice cream! Looks fabulous!!!
The cobbler looks so delicious! Yum!
