Cobwebs at the pond

Start with a loop from one dead tree to the next.

Cobwebs are at the top of the dead tree, not between Suzy's ears!

This is my favorite.

Spiders at the pond stay busy!

You'd wonder how they do it over the water.
Grand shot of the dog going 'what's she doing all over there.

Is that that noxious weed, the water Hyacinth under the hound.

Never mind busy spiders Cool Joe - these look like BIG spiders.

Wonderfully captured Kelly, thanks for sharing.

Vince - We have two different menaces in our pond, neither of which I know the real name of: the water lilies you can see in the bottom two photos and the grass you can see along the bank in the top two photos. Both threaten to take over our pond! We've just added quite a few more grass carp to eat the weeds and are spraying both in an attempt to kill them off. Has to be done in sections, though, to keep from sucking the oxygen out of the water and killing the fish.

Oh I just love that last one! It amazes me how spiders can create the fabulous ambitious webs.

Their webs are stunning, but I hate it when they spin their threads across our hall in the middle of the night so I run into them when I go to the loo. And such a waste of time because when I´ve been there, they´ll have to start all over again ;)

Dorte, you home-wrecker! :) That's what I use to call my kids when they'd walk through a web. I hate the feel of one in my face!
