Okay.....I've been tagged. Thanks to Dorte at DJs Krimiblog I am to answer the following questions then tag three others. Let's see what I can come up with.
1. If you could have any superpower, what would you have? Why?
My kids use to ask me this when they were little. I always had trouble coming up with an answer then, but I think I've finally figured it out. I would like to be able to teleport! It would be great to go anywhere in the world with the blink of an eye.
2. Who is your style icon?
Those who know me in real life know I'm not big on "fashion". I dress for comfort and to suit myself.
3. What is your favorite quote?
The Bible verse from 2 Corinthians that I have in my profile. It speaks volumes about my life.
4. What is the best compliment you've ever received?
Perhaps that I'm a good listener. So often saying the "right" thing is to say "nothing".
5. What playlist/cd is in your CD player right now?
Mmmm..that changes with my moods. I've been on a 70s Rock kick lately.
6. Are you a night owl or a morning person?
For the most part I'd say I'm a morning person.
7. Do you prefer dogs or cats?
I'm definitely a dog person (though I have nothing against cats)
8. What is the meaning behind your blog name?
My blog doesn't stick to one topic such as books, cooking, photography or whatever. I'm not much of a writer, either. So....it's just a collection of my "thoughts and ramblings". Believe me, it's a challenge sometimes to keep my entries "readable" rather than just "random".

5. Like Kelly, varies with my mood. Lately, I've been into rap and hip hop.

8. If you knew me you wouldn't have to ask that. 2 grandkids with mental illness and my daughter under my roof, not to mention 3 dogs.... Chaos is the name of the game.

I also like the idea of teleporting.
And it seems that bloggers are not very fashion conscious - or does that just go for the bloggers I know?

I have never really thought of this, but I like Kelly’s teleporting. Beam me up, Scotty.
2. "Who is your style icon?"
My style icon is Joy Behar. Now, I don’t watch her. She’s a loudmouth. I just remember her statement that if you have multiple pairs of black pants, and just change the style and colors of the shirts and tunics you wear, you are OK fashion wise in middle age. That’s pretty much my mantra.
3. "What is your favorite quote?"
That’s easy… “Wherever you go, there you are.”
4. "What is the best compliment you've ever received?"
I would need to think of this for awhile. I know it would be something one of my kids said about me. Without belaboring, I’ll just use something someone told me last week, when she said it would be an honor to recommend me… one of the directors I was working for at Coventry. She said… “I just want to thank you again for all you did for us, and how much of yourself you put into making things work for us; we were so lucky to have you”. I guess that is what my work has been about.
5. "What playlist/cd is in your CD player right now?"
Right now I’m listening alternating behind Smokey Robinson and the new Sarah McLachlan.. “The Laws of Illusion”.
6. "Are you a night owl or a morning person?"
That’s rich. Both!! But in the last three years, I am getting more night sleep.
7. "Do you prefer dogs or cats?"
Hello? Is there really a choice? Dogs, of course.
8. "What is the meaning behind your blog name?"
Since I started writing again (2002), and since my divorce (2004), I’m living a life totally different than what I lived in most of my adulthood. And, my life is not to everyone’s liking… it’s a little, well, singular. So, despite the fact that I’m deeply satisfied in what I’m doing now, I’d have to say in the eyes of others, I’m… “Living Imperfectly”.
This was fun!! Here's mine:
