When I was a little girl my dad had a fantastic model train set. Laid out in a U-shape, it covered the equivalent of about three ping-pong tables and included residential, industrial, and business districts. My favorite thing was the haunted house with buttons I could push to make different colors flash in the windows.
I received an e-mail from my cousin featuring a model train set that puts my dad's to shame! I believe things like this bring out the child in all of us. Check it out!

Kelly, this is pure dee amazing! Just the scope of it. I'm going to forward it to Sarah to show Warner. He loves all kinds of trains. Great post! Blessings!
Amazing. I would love to see it in person.
Wow!!! Once a year they have a spectacular model train exhibit at North Park Mall in Dallas. It's similar, on a smaller scale, to this. I always found it facinating!
There is, I think, also one at Children's hospital in Dallas.
I never see these that I don't think of Daddy's passion for model trains.
I remember as a little kid, at the Big House, wandering around his train room when I was in my "club house" ( The Good Deed Daily Club) in the basement room next to his train room.
When Connor and Sam were little I think I had as much fun buying and playing with thier Thomas trains and the watching the train videos as they did! :)
Fantastic!!!!! My dad and my bro constructed an elaborate train display on a big ol' piece of plywood that rested on top of our pool table in the basement. A couple of years later....gone. Replaced with race cars.
None of them was anything like your video, however!

That is absolutely amazing! It would be awesome to see it in person.
My brothers had a simple train set when we were kids. A wonderful toy with hours of play.
So, so cool. Love model trains.
