I thought this would be a good time to "rehash" my favorite ice cream recipe. I got it from an online friend in South Dakota.
5 cups whole milk
2 cups real maple syrup
4 cups cream
3 Tbs. vanilla extract
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together, then pour into ice cream freezer canister. Follow instructions for your freezer, and enjoy!!

I can't say that I agree with that, but I do love dipped cones! Love the recipe. I haven't had my ice cream maker out since the kids left home over ten years ago. I doubt it still works, but I'd love a big bowl of homemade vanilla right now. I just hung out some laundry and it is SMOKIN' HOT out there! LOL! Fun post, Kelly!!

I, too am the proverbial ice cream sandwich. I looked at the ice cream recipe. If I leave out the ingredients I can't have.... I have vanilla. Just vanilla. Extract, that is. Sigh.
