Puppy update

Good news! We were able to transfer the six remaining puppies to the animal shelter today where there's a good chance they will be placed into good homes. Things for the outside girls are pretty much back to normal. The run has been bleached and the doghouse cleaned out and filled with fresh hay. Meanwhile, there is never a dull moment with all the inside girls!

Sharing a rope.

Mabel chews a bone while Alice chews Mabel's leg.

Mabel stretches out on a chair for a nap.

Alice curls up in a patch of sunlight with her big sister, Esther.

Awwww!!! My new babies. Hopefully I will get to see them soon. Also, I need to come home and comfort my boo. She can sleep on my bed while I'm not there.

They are great, Kelly! I am so proud of you for getting the other ones placed. Hopefully all the new owners will have them spayed or neutered!

Is Betty still not playing well with others?

Betty still doesn't like the pups, but I've seen a tiny bit of improvement in her behaviour. She may never like them, but I think she can learn to tolerate them.

And yes, Bob... Alice & Mabel already have an appointment to be spayed when they're a little older.

Thank goodness, Kelly! I'm so glad the pound took some of them off your hands. They are adorable and I'm sure they'll find homes. You're such a good person!!

I'm back blogging here. Just took me a while to iron the kinks out!

Kelly,

I am glad to hear that you could place the other puppies.

And all the pictures of Alice and Mabel which you have shared here are precious!
