Here's a recipe from the "Tea Shop Mystery" I read last week. We tried it today and it turned out to be quite tasty!
Haley's Chocolate Zucchini Tea Bread
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups shredded zucchini
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate bits
Combine flour, eggs, sugar, oil, vanilla, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and buttermilk in a mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed for two minutes. Stir in zucchini and chocolate bits.
Pour batter into two well-greased loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees for one hour and 15 minutes. Cool, slice, and serve with cream cheese and orange marmalade.

I am a huge fan of zucchini bread (and have perfected my craft and recipe, which is to drive exactly 1.4 miles south to Fresh Market and pick up a moist, wrapped loaf).
I can't say I'm on board with the addition of chocolate chips. If you taste it, let me know the verdict. Somehow, it offends my sensibilities. Kinda like strawberries in cinnamon bread or somesuch.
And me, being a world class baker, I would never want my sensibilities offended.

Never having tasted zucchini bread without chococlate chips, I have nothing to compare it to. However, this is quite delicious... especially with the addition of the cream cheese & orange marmalade!
Don't know if I like Zuchinni bread, but now I'm hungry and it's time to feed the boys (and moi)!!
I'm cooking my Coke Brisquit at the moment(dinner). Yum!
I might like Zuchini bread better with just one 'n'. You neve know.
This sounds fabulous... pardon me while I mop up my drool!!!
